Forest,

I am not aware of specific lawsuits in Calif. for which Leslie A. is referring to.  If anyone knows of the details, please let me know as this info. could be helpful in the licensure effort.  We are working on licensure in Calif.  See www.caccl.com and give us your contact info. so we can keep you informed of our efforts.  (We are communicating via email so this is critical and cost-effective!  We are not selling the contact info. if you are concerned about this.) 

The good news is we will know by the next legislative session (Spring) whether licensure is a go in CA.  It would take a year or two to implement after that.

In the meanwhile, if anyone is interested in getting involved (WE NEED YOU!) please contact me and I will give you details of what we need.  This is a critical time in Calif.!!!  Both for licensure and elections!

I will be giving you a full update with details about Fall legislative action and updates at the conference in a few weeks, so stay posted.

Oh, yeah, SEND MONEY!!!
