MOVING FROM WITHIN
International Congress on Movemnet Analysis in Education, Therapy, and
Science


Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
I am delighted to announce that the International Congress
on Movement Analysis in Education, Therapy and Science,
Moving from Within, will be hosted for the 20-year
anniversary of the Zentrum fuer Tanz & Therapie in Munich
for those interested in dance  therapy  education  science
and economics. In cooperation with the University of
Heidelberg, the congress offers the opportunity to get to
know the instruments of movement analysis, refresh or enrich
your knowledge of previously learned methods, or discover
new aspects about working with movement analysis.
Renowned lecturers will introduce their work, partly for the
first time in Germany, and offer lectures and workshops. Not
only are we inviting you to participate in the interesting
lectures and workshops, but also to exchange your
knowledge and experience with colleagues from all over the
world as well as a dance performance followed by a buffet
and dancing.

Call for Presentations
For our program we are searching for experts that would like
to offer workshops in
KMP  Laban Movement Analysis
Movement Pattern Analysis  Action Profiling
based on their work in therapy, education and research.
We are planning to host events, which mainly target
participants involved in teaching, therapy and research.
In introductory workshops participants will have the
possibility to get to know or refresh their knowledge on
working with movement analysis and the individual systems.
In advanced workshops the more specialized and detailed
fields of work of KMP, Laban Movement Analysis and the
Movement Pattern Analysis (Action Profiling) are to be
demonstrated.
Specialization workshops should introduce the possibilities
 e.g. in the field of scientific work  of more intensive work
with these systems.

Please e-mail (info at tanztherapie-zentrum.de) your abstract
as well as a short biography including a current photo by
September 1, 2006. On no more than one page, the abstract
should clearly convey what you would like to present.
The detailed program including all the key note speakers and
the exact lectures and workshops offered will be available in
January 2007. We are very much looking forward to then
inform you of all the Moving from Within events.
