	 Welcome to the National Association for Drama
Therapy!
 
Call for Papers The Deadline has been extended to
DECEMBER 15 2006!If you plan to submit a
proposal,click on the "Proposal Submission"button
above and follow the instructions. 	The 28th Annual
NADT ConferenceMontreal, Quebec, CanadaAugust 9-11,
2007 What is the source that draws each of us back to
refresh our bodies, our minds, and our spirits as we
work in a helping profession? How do we reconnect with
the roots of healing that led us to drama therapy? Do
we look to the spiritual, the theatrical, the
philosophical, the theoretical, or some other source?
What are the essential elements within us, as
therapists, that allow us to continuously renew our
commitments to self, others and our profession? What
feeds us from within and from without and supports us
in our interactions with others? What are the factors
that sustain us from day to day?   Join us in Montreal
at the next NADT conference as we explore the source
of our profession. We invite proposals that are
creative,  innovative and support our theme. We
welcome presentations in many formats which explore
research, clinical practice, performance or
supervision as they relate to the work that we do and
the principles which support that work   A return to
the source may center on creativity and
self-expression, with all of the chaos that is a part
of that process. How does one deal with the chaos, as
it impacts our clients and ourselves? How do we 
articulate and demonstrate the efficacy of such a
creative therapeutic process? How important are
embodiment and action-oriented methods in  our
approach to treatment, and is this a source for our
work? Does one's awareness of the source influence
one's work and contribute to transformation and
healing? How has your own work transformed over time,
and what has supported these changes? What do our
clients draw upon in order to transform and heal? Come
and celebrate as we undertake this exciting
exploration.   The presenter application will be
available soon on this website. Start thinking about
how you will contribute to this inspiring conference.
