I would like to respond to why Lillian Espenak was not part of the presentation in California.   She is indeed highly respected and we were well aware of her not being part of the presentation and said so at that time.   However,  the time limit precluded speaking about all those we thought to be pioneers.....and choices were made for various reasons....three of those spoken about were practicing in California.  As it was we did not have the time we needed to present all that was prepared.

The purpose was to present in visual form ie. videos  the women who are just names to many people....so they could see them move and hear their voices.  The presenters were people who had been immediate students of those who were their mentors.

We certainly would support that any one who would like to present at the next conference with the same vision to do so
 It would be wonderful to continue to gather these materials for others.  We are sorry that Lillian was not one of them at this first go around but it was not because she was ignored.
