Doris,

I have in the past. I have taken conferences off-line, on my own
schedule, and it was beneficial. You may want to send your inquiry

PsyBC Seminars

PsyBC's seminars are devoted to helping mental health professionals
expand their array of skills and their ways of thinking about mind
and behavior. They also aim at helping keep up with licensing
requirements.

How PsyBC Seminars Work: Our seminars meet in our online classrooms
which you gain access to with any standard web browser such as
Internet Explorer or Netscape. We have an orientation the week prior
to the start of your course so you can become familiar with the use
of our classrooms and ongoing technical support during the course.
You probably won't need it but if you do it takes less than 10
minutes. (Really). You don't need to be at your computer at any
special time. During the period when the seminar is meeting you log
in and participate according to your own schedule.

What is the format of seminars?
Seminars are teacher led classes that function like face-to-face
seminars with the advantages and conveniences of e-learning. They
take place over varying periods of time and take place in our forums.

New Seminars: New seminars are offered in a "time-limited" version.
You will take the course with a group of other students, following a
schedule of reading and discussion. They have the advantage of taking
a course with a group which, when the chemistry is good, can add
significantly to the experience.

Continuous Seminars: PsyBC takes it's most successful seminars, edits
the discussions, and converts them into "Continuous Seminars". You
can begin continuous seminars anytime and take them at your own pace.
When you have completed the course you take the exam and receive your
certificate for continuing education credits. The instructor
continues to teach the course responding questons and comments posed
by you and others taking the continuous version of the course. You
have the benefit of the best of the previous discussions as well as
your own discourse with the instructors. Continuous seminars are
noted by [Continuous] after the name of the course.

So, look over the seminars on the right side and click on the name of
any that you are interested in to see a full description of the
course, the syllabus, the cost, and a brief bio of the instructor.

Continuing Education Credits
All of our seminars are accredited for CE credits.
