[Adta] FlexAware Teacher Training in Washington, DC

  Steve Shafarman is offering another series of FlexAware teacher education workshops in Washington, DC this winter 2007.
   
  There is still (limited) space to sign up for a number of different training/education formats.
   
  FlexAware is a great way of integrating different mind-body practices - dance/movement therapy, Laban/Bartenieff/Kestenberg work, Feldenkrais and Alexander Techniques, etc.
   
  
  FlexAware exercises are very different than yoga, Pilates, stretching, strength training, and cardiovascular workouts — and FlexAware  enhances the benefits of all those other forms. 
   
  FlexAware also enhances the benefits  of physical therapy, chiropractic treatments, FeldenkraisÒ lessons, Rolfing, and stress-reduction practices. 
   
    
Students will learn how to teach FlexAware  exercises for fitness and in Outgrowing Pain ä classes. Graduates will receive a manual that describes the lessons, classes, and the way of thinking that makes FlexAware unique. Graduates will be certified to teach by FlexAware Learning Corporation.
