Hi Kristen,

There's an article on this topic:

Lundy, H. & McGuffin, P. (2005). Using dance/movement therapy to augment
the effectiveness of therapeutic holding with children. Journal of Child
and Adolescent Nursing 18(3), 135-145,

Hope you can get a hold of it somehow.

Subject: [Adta] use of restraints

Dear members,

I work in an in-patient setting where restraints are
available to use at the discretion of our clinical
director. I often find myself disagreeing when a
restraint is used and also when it is not. I am
curious to hear from others about their experience of
the use of restraints in in-patient settings.

Thank you and happy holidays,
Kristin Perry
