Hello friends!

Some of you may already be aware that I am serving as the Editor of the News
& Notes column in the "Arts in Psychotherapy: An International Journal."
(Robyn Flaum Cruz is Editor in Chief; hi Robyn!) I am always looking for dance
therapy and CAT related events, conferences, seminars, university programs,
research colloquiums, press releases, awards, and any other news worthy info.
I usually spend several hours surfing the internet to gather items for each
submission (5 a year).

I welcome receiving any notices of such info from any DMTs; however, I
wanted to target international DMTs in particular because I (regretfully!) am only
fluent in English. And many of the international dance therapy sites I've
been finding (Finland, Sweden, Greece, Spain, Argentina to name a few) are
either exclusively in their own languages, or the English pages don't list any
upcoming events.

So, for all DMTs, and especially any international, bilingual DMTs, this is
an official invitation to send me news items for probable inclusion in a
future column in the journal. Upcoming events are either listed out in the
Calendar section, detailed in brief in an Education section, or described briefly
in the News section. If you would like the announcement to appear only in
your native language, I just need you to break down the info for me using
English labels:

What I Need to Know to Include an Event:
--What the event is
--What the title is
--When it is being held (month, days, year)
--Where the event will be held (city, state/province, country)
--Who is sponsoring or hosting the event (the DMT association name,
university, etc.)
--Any Distinguished Presenters/Speakers
--Contact info (Name, address, telephone, e-mail, and/or internet address if
a reader wants to contact you or your organization about the event)

I prefer to receive electronic formatting - either in the body of an e-mail
message or as an attachment to e-mail. I can read files in Microsoft Word,
Adobe Acrobat, and a few other applications. I'll list my e-mail address at the
end of this post.

Thank you in advance for future notifications!

Best wishes,
Cathi
