  I am anticipating the approval of several new F/T and P/T ‘Life Skill Specialist’ positions within the in-patient psychiatric department of Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City. The Psych Rehab department was just started in January 2006.  This is a great opportunity to help build a program.  I will be looking for Creative Arts Therapists and Occupational Therapists with in-patient experience in geriatric psychiatry, MICA, child/adolescent psychiatry, and general adult psychiatry.  In addition to full time staff (to work a combination of 8-4:30 and 11:30 to 8 shifts) I will be looking to fill per diem weekend and evening shifts.
