As someone who has been in the dance education and dance history world
of late, I will add my kudos to the organizers and say how deeply
touched and enriched I feel after spending such quality time with DMTs!
(Debbie, Arlynne, Sharon, Jody, Cathy, Suzi, Nancy, Meg, Susan, Paul,
Emily, Susan I., Stacey, Marylee, Rachel, Ellen, Elissa, Robin, and
everyone else--you each fed me!)

I did not get to very many sessions, but found the poster session
wonderful, the encounters amazing, the reunions healing, and the
movement choir simply lovely. (Marylee, you are just so wonderful!)

I would like to thank Ellen Yacoe for being my partner in presenting the
advocacy work we do and to encourage all of you to get involved with
this at the national, state or local levels. I know Ellen would agree
that we can be mutually supportive in these efforts and are willing to
share what we know at any time.

I'm sorry particularly that we did not get to do some sort of joint
research session with NDEO and ADTA, since both organizations are
dealing with similar questions about methodologies, funding, and
directions. Maybe that is something we can plan to do on an ad hoc
basis. I would be happy to faciltiate such a conversation, either online
or in a mini-conference.

And to the Laban folks who came to the confab, thank you for your
honesty and commitment to this work, and let's keep talking and moving
together!

Karen Bradley
