2006/2007 TRAINING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

October 15, November 5 & 26, December 1, January 7 & 28,
February 18, March 11, April 1 & 22, May 13

This intensive program is the 1st year expressive arts training in a
3-year certification process. Options for degree programs (MA & Ph.D.)
through the European Graduate School are available for those interested
in a more in-depth study. nycEAS Certification program provides
small-group training for individuals seeking to bring the arts more
fully into their practices and lives. The program is open to artists,
therapists, educators, coaches and related professionals.

The training’s primary focus is on creative exploration in music,
dance, visual art, poetry and drama, helping each group member to
broaden his or her ability to play in the arts and subsequently
learning to move lightly in a creative process with others. Students
also learn foundational theories and philosophies currently held in
expressive arts, allowing for a deeper understanding of the role of the
arts in a helping situation, responding effectively to the arts and
building connections to the client's life situation.

This course is designed to offer maximum support for growth in the
studio and in practice with others.
For more information about course schedule or to arrange an interview
please contact nycEAS.

Classes begin on Oct. 15 1-6pm
