AM [Adta] Responding to Inquiries
To all-
As Secretary/Member Services Chair I am happy to respond to students and
other interested people about the ADTA and particularly questions about
membership. I often invite those who are in or traveling to New York City
to come and visit the hospital where I work to get a "real-life" look at
Dance/Movement Therapy. I find that offering a chance to see a d/mt group
in action and then spending a lunch hour with prospective students or
those contemplating their future career choices, really helps get the
message out there and offers a personal contact that is often hard to get
otherwise. I encourage all dance/movement therapists to try to find the
tiime and opportunities to talk, demonstrate, and share their expertise
and life experiences with all those who are curious about our incredible
field!
