Dear DMT Colleagues:

  - Are you a former LIMS® student who began but did not complete your LIMS®
  Certification in Laban Movement Analysis?

  - Have you been working with the LMA/BF material for 20 years or more, but
unable to fit CMA studies into your schedule?

  - Have you studied LMA/BF with a CMA for a minimum of 400 hours?

  - Are you ready to complete your CMA?

If so, LIMS® extends to you a warm welcome for January 2008 Module 4!

The Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies - LIMS® is very pleased to introduce a new way to resume LMA/BF studies and complete your CMA in three intensive weeks followed by completion of a Certification Project.

Applicants who previously attended the program but didn't complete the certification project, others who have 20 or more years of documented experience with the LMA/BF material, or have documentation of a minimum 400 hours of LMA/BF training with a CMA are now eligible to apply for Module 4 of the New York City Modular Program to be held JANUARY 3 -19, 2008.

Those meeting required experience and/or training criteria will be exempt from Pre-Requisite Introductory Courses in Anatomy & Kinesiology, Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentalssm.

Upon acceptance, students will receive LIMS® Module 4 Final Assessment Exam, which must be completed in full prior to the beginning of Module 4. This comprehensive exam will allow you to review the LMA/BF Certification material and will serve as a framework for further class discussion.

Due to the necessary time needed to complete this exam and due to the nature of the application process, we encourage you to contact LIMS® as soon as possible to allow for adequate time to organize your application materials.

The application deadline of OCTOBER 19th is fast approaching, so get into Mobile State!

For more information about this enhancement to the LIMS® New York Modular Certification Program, including a list of necessary application materials, please contact Rebecca Lundgren, LIMS® Certification Programs Administrator at 212- 643-8888 or email us at info at limsonline.org

  Hope to welcome you soon!

  Best regards,
