[Adta] Registered Somatic Movement Therapist?

Hello everyone. Hope the holiday season is starting smoothly for all.

I have a question about another profession (related?) and hoping some of you might have some insight.  Do any of you have first hand knowledge about the field of Somatic Movement Therapy and how it may or may not relate to D/MT?

Someone with the title RSMT has recently expressed interest in a D/MT position and I must confess I don't know the history of this field or how it connects to us if at all.  Are there any D/MTs out there who also have this credential or know someone who does and can elucidate about similarities, differences, etc? My first instinct as to difference would be an absence of actual "dance" in their practice....
