Greetings,
I would like to bring this book to the attention of dance therapists who work with the elderly and the physically handicapped. Chapter 20, "Kinetic Melody, Parkinson's Disease and Music Therapy", is especially meaningful to us. Although he says nothing about dance/movement therapy per se, he does talk a lot about dance and movement while lauding music therapy. There are good ideas for using the kind of music that is helpful in stimulating rhythmic movement and another reason for using a ball as a prop.
