[Adta] Pat Gardner

For those members who have worked closely with Pat Gardner over the
years, you may be interested to know that past presidents of ADTA as 
well
as others, have asked me to inform the listserve that we want to honor 
Pat
for her years of dedication, loyalty and service to ADTA.   We plan to
contribute money to a fund to be given to her in a gift credit card for 
her
to use as she chooses.  We do know that she loves to garden and loves to
read.  We are also thinking of giving her a plant to place in her 
garden this
spring.   We are also going to get her a beautiful object that would be 
engraved
and I will compile emails/tributes to Pat in a book for her memories.

Sharon Chaiklin will be the recipient of funds, so please make checks 
out to
her.  And I will be available to receive the tributes and give you any 
information
should you have questions.

P.S.  You may be interested to learn that some of us "old-timers" have 
known
Pat since she began at ADTA -- so her retirement brings back many, many
memories for us.
