[Adta] Therapy Position

Illinois Youth Advocate Program headquartered in Harvey, Illinois, an
affiliate of National Youth Advocate Program, is seeking a Master's
level therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy as well
as parent coaching to clients within the child welfare system.
 
This position will require the therapist to conduct some in-home therapy
services.  Most travel is to the west and south side of Chicago and the
southern suburbs.  Preferred candidates will have at least one year of
experience, knowledge of expressive arts therapy, and experience working
with child abuse/trauma.  Preferred candidates will have experience
working with parents/families on issues related to improving their
parenting skills and a willingness to learn the agency's methods of
parent coaching.  This is a contractual position with the potential to
carry 18-20 cases.
