Steve Shafarman, originator of the
FlexAware(tm)method, will be conducting workshops,
classes, and a teacher training this spring in
Washington, D.C.

FlexAware(tm) is a method of mind-body integration
that uses principles of breath and body
connectivity, movement and alignment, somatic
awareness, and gentle hands-on interventions.

FlexAware is great for dancers, movement educators,
dance therapists, people with chronic pain - anyone
who makes using the body and movement a part of
their practice.

A background in movement therapy, Bartenieff
Fundamentals, Feldenkrais, LMA, or a similar
discipline is desired.
