Hi everyone,

I took a short hiatus from this listserv and now am happy to be back!

I am writing my master's thesis (Pacifica Graduate Institute) on an 8- 
week group I did using expressive arts therapy (as taught by Daria  
Halprin at Tamalpa Institute - movement, drawing, writing) with men  
who were or are involved in our court-ordered Domestic Violence  
treatment program.

I have found several resources for the paper, but none that deal  
directly with the subject of using dance, art, or expressive arts  
therapy with (specifically) male DV perpetrators. Do any of you have  
resources to recommend? Something related and interesting? Articles,  
books, magazines, personal experience/writings?

I can't wait to finish and share the paper. My experience  
facilitating this group leads me to believe that movement-based  
expressive arts would greatly advance the effectiveness of the  
current, mildly-effective, cognitive/shaming-oriented DV treatment  
program!
