[Adta] now is the time........

Now is the time to sign up to take the National Certification Exam for those
who are eligible.

 

All ADTRs w/ a MA from an accreditated college or university in d/mt,
psychology, counseling, marriage & family therapy or social work, are
eligible to sit for this exam.

 

It will be administered right before the ADTA conference in Brooklyn.

 

I encourage those eligible to consider becoming a NCC ( national certified
Counselor). You can go to  the NBCC website to clear more about the benefits
of having this credential.

 

I also encourage you to study for the exam & would be happy to suggest
resource material/study guides or perhaps some of you who have taken the
exam  may have used guides for sale.

 

 Those of you who are studying for the exam could also create study groups-
even through e mail.

 

Feel free to discuss any questions you have or thoughts re this exam. Many
of us have taken this exam &  would be happy to provide suggestions.
