Tamalpa Institute offers a comprehensive training program for
individuals who wish to incorporate the principles and tools of
embodied creativity into their own personal development and
professional practices. The training includes experiential
exploration through the arts, philosophy and theory of the practice,
and basic maps and methods of the work. Contact Tamalpa or visit our
website for more details.

Tamalpa Experience Workshop
September 29 & 30, 2007

If your body could speak,
what would it say?

This 2-day intensive workshop gives participants an experiential
understanding of our work in movement-based healing arts. Recommended
as an introduction to our training programs.

The Tamalpa Experience Workshop with Daria Halprin introduces an
approach that enlivens dialogues between body and imagination, life
experiences and art making. Using movement, drawing, writing and
improvisational performance, participants will tap into art's
symbolic language to explore current life themes and generate new
resources. The 2-day workshop takes place in the historic Mountain
Home Studio of dance pioneer Anna Halprin. Contact Tamalpa for more
information and to register.
