I have noticed a huge increase. At one point, I considered taping
commercials with dancing. There is some good choreography in some of them.
Dance is being used to sell children's and teens' clothes, diet programs,
underwear (there are dance company members in Fruit of the Loom ads), GAP,
Cars, tech equipment, and so on. Most are really great ads. I have a theory
that people are tired of sitting at computers and desks and long for
movement. Also, I think the influx of ethnic groups is affecting dance in
our culture.
