[Adta] DanceMovement Therapy Internship Opportunity

Hi everyone,
 
I would like to announce that there are openings for  dance/movement therapy internships here at Dominion Hospital for the Fall of 2007. Dominion Hospital is a short-term psychiatric hospital that treats children, adolescents and adults, located just outside of Washington, DC. We provide both in-patient and out-patient services. We also have a specialized program for Self Injurious Behavior and Eating Disorders. I have been working here as a dance/movement therapist since 1990, and I have had the pleasure of supervising students from Antioch, Pratt, Goucher and Columbia College. In my role here, I also provide expressive therapy services, so as an intern here, you would also have the opportunity to explore the use of other modalites in conjunction with movement.
