And furthermore ... if you are attending this conference, please note that our Md/DC/Va chapter will be holding our quarterly business meeting following the workshop schedule on Saturday, March 17 from 5-8, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Following a brief business meeting we will do some Irish dancing in honor of St. Patricks Day, and we will be led in some dances of universal peace. So please ... if you are in the area ... do plan on joining us. Stop by our ADTA table to find out where exactly we will be.

A huge thanks goes to PR committee member, Liz Hagerman and her friends of the DC/MD/VA chapter who are hosting an ADTA table at the Psychotherapy Networker Conference in Washington DC. NOW....March 15-18, 2007.   Daniel Goleman, John and Julie Gottman, Daniel Siegel, Francine Shapiro, Kenneth Hardy, Jerome Kagan and Deborah Tannen are featured speakers this year.  In addition this conference will feature an eminent multidisciplinary lineup of speakers from a variety of fields-therapy, neuroscience, coaching, theater arts, yoga, spiritual disciplines-who will bring us the latest thinking and practice in what it means to be truly mindful, fully conscious of our moment-to-moment experience.   The presence of our Association at this venue with over 3500 registered professionals is fantastic!!  If you are in the area, or attending the conference, please pop by the table to say hello!!
