I too have worked with masks as part of my practice, and have taught how to 
use them when I've given classes based on Liljan Espenak's work.  Liljan used 
masks extensively throughtout her work, and emphasized their use particularly 
when working with more functional clients.  I'd like to refer you to her book, 
published by Charles C. Thomas in 1981.  It is entitled: Dance therapy: Theory 
and application. It's one of the earlier books written about the theory and 
practice of dance therapy, and a seminal work in my estimation.
