Hello All,

I am currently a Sophomore Dance and Digital Filmmaking Student and  
Stephens College and I have received an AMAZING opportunity to go to  
India this summer to be a part of a Healing Arts Camp for young women  
rescued from brothels in India.

Dance therapy is quite new to me, and I will be expected to lead  
somewhat of a lenient form of "dance therapy sessions" with these  
women in India.  It is quite a unique situation.  I will have between  
50-100 girls at a time.  So, it will be quite alot.  All of the girls  
experiences in the brothels vary.   I will be able to split them up  
into groups, but I will only be able to work with one group at a time.

Has anyone had experience using dance therapy with sexually abused  
women.  How did you run your sessions and what did you focus on?

Also, has anyone had experience using dance therapy with client who  
did not speak the same language?  These young girls will most likely  
understand English, but may not know how to speak it.
