Hi Sandra!
I think that we DO have a responsibility to provide the "pond" from witch
the students can "fish" for specific info that they may need. Also, in a
sense we are all "students" of life" in various stages, & I find it helpful
to know where to go to get what I need also.
When I was a student, before ADTA & academic programs, there were only
"hints" virtually no, or few papers had been written on the general subject
of d/mt. it is amazing how far we've come. Few people have the opportunity
to develop & support the development of an actual body of knowledge for a
profession & we "do" & have" & I hope will continue to.

Dear Adta,
It is so nice that everyone seems to feel welcome to ask the ADTA to
provide references for students. Something I like to encourage
students to do for themselves.
Do we have a policy on this?
We can either hand fish to the hungry, or teach them to fish for
themselves..is our goal to teach the students to hunt for themselves?
Sandra
