To the Membership:

I would like to recommend the following one-woman show to the New York dance
therapy community. Elizabeth Polk was a founding member of the New York
Chapter, and a dance therapist who did pioneering work with children. Her
grand-niece, Libby Skala, has created a captivating show about Elizabeth's life that
spans her early days in Austria, and her experiences in America as a dancer,
dance teacher and therapist. The play, performed by Libby to perfection, gives a
rare glimpse into the life force that drove Elizabeth's professional and
personal life choices. Libby's performance is so life-like in her gestures and
voice inflection, that it's difficult to believe that Elizabeth isn't standing on
stage herself and speaking to the audience. I hope many people will have the
opportunity to go on Sunday, April 8. See the details below.

Sincerely,
Nana Koch
