Good Morning!
Let me join the applause for Jody's book Where's Leon? I like Sarah Arnett
was fortunate to delight in Jody's presentation at the ADTA conference in
Long Beach. I also was fortunate to participate in a movement adventure
that Jody did in the Duke University Gardens earlier this Spring. It was
wonderful and the kids and family members loved it. We will look forward
to more
inspired ideas. thanks Jody.

Dear Susan and Listserve Readers!
Susan, I am touched by your words about my book Where’s Leon? and about
the CD. The CD is a culmination of my work as a dance/theatre
improvisational artist, a Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through
the Arts Teaching Artist and as a dance therapist. I am greatly
appreciative not only of your recognition but for “spreading the word.” I
presented Where’s Leon? at last year’s joint conference as a teaching tool
for dance educators and as a point of departure for dance therapists in
their sessions. I believe in this book and reader’s guide. And, yes,
there will be others. I already have sequels to Where’s Leon? and have two
other story lines that have developed.
If Listserve readers’s are interested in this kind of work you can check
out my website www.movingYOUtolearn.com and if you are interested in
purchasing Where’s Leon? it is available in NC through many independent
bookstores. Outside of NC it is available through the publisher by phone
704-330-6789 and by CPCCPress at cpcc.edu = email; and also through their
website www.cpccservicescorp.com/LEON.htm .
You have made my Sunday! my week! my month(s)! with your thoughts and
words, Susan.

Hi Jody & everyone!
I ordered this book at the Long beach conference & have picked it up
several times to explore it further. I did that again today & wanted to
congratulate you, Jody.
You have created an adorable children’s book as well as an absolutely
unique & wonderful CD that provides direction re being creative w/ movement
as a learning tool ( I think it can also be quite therapeutic)).
As I explored this guide ( read only through computer like the ADTA
Proceedings), I recognized the huge contribution, you have made, Jody, to
not only sharing your creative process but also articulating new ways that
can guide others to increase their own creativity & therefore, that of
those they work with, no matter the age.
Bravo!
I hope you will continue to build on this foundation you’ve developed ( & I
just know that you will because you always have)!
Thanks so much
Susan
