Summer Workshops 2007

Tamalpa's annual Summer Program includes a variety of intensive workshops representing
the different aspects of the Halprin Process. These workshops can be taken separately
or as a whole.
Part 1 - Dance as Ritual taught by Anna Halprin with Taira Restar
June 25-28, historic Mountain Home Studio, Kentfield, California, $550
Part 2 - Self Portraits taught by Jaime Nisenbaum
July 2-6, historic Mountain Home Studio, Kentfield, California, $550
Part 3 - Movement & Expressive Arts in Nature taught by Jamie McHugh
July 9-13, residential in Point Reyes National Seashore, California, $550
Room & board: $300

Peace Dance Project in Africa
Dana Swain and Joy Packard, students in our Embodied Leadership Training, initiated
an amazing and inspiring project bringing dance, art and the Tamalpa work to young
adults in Angola. They integrated scores from Circle the Earth, Planetary Dance,
and the Halprin Life/Art Process to foster dialogue and action toward social change!

Anna Halprin & the Sea Ranch Collective

Anna Halprin & the Sea Ranch Collective invite you to SEASONS: PART III "AWAKEN."
Each evening event will include outdoor site-specific performances inspired by the
sculpture of Auguste Rodin, a corresponding workshop led by Ms. Halprin, live sound
scores, and a community dinner ritual. To take place at the historic Mountain Home
