Hi Anna,
Several years ago, William Freedman put together an absolutely beautiful
video on creative arts therapies with children dealing with special
needs. The entire video is subtitled. There is a section on DMT with LD
children, art with blind children and music (and I wouldn't call this
section therapy) with deaf children. The video is a wonderful
introduction to DMT with premises of the field and examples. The art
section is also wonderful. It is available very reasonably but I have to
get you the information from work later today. You can order the video
and a curriculum of integrating the arts for special needs into
education for something like $55. It is a shame that this was never
shown at a conference because it is a little gem. Sorry the section on
the deaf is not really therapy or very exciting until the end when she
does some movement. I will try hard to remember to send you the ordering
information from work this afternoon.
