I would like to thank Christina D. for her outstanding work as ADTA's P.R. chairperson. What energy , what vision, and what wonderful spirit! Thank you Christina!
In addition, highlights of the conference, for me, included all the great hugs and warm greetings of people I see once a year, and treasure dearly. This does "recharge my batteries", as others have said.
I loved Libby Skala's performance, her "embodiment" of Elizabeth Polk -- I was taken instantly and clearly back to the NYS-ADTA chapter meetings we had (a long time ago!) in Elizabeth's house in Queens, NY--> I could hear her voice, and see her right there before me!
The opening and closing, by MaryLee H. were wonderful, as always. And there really does seem to be a positive, forward-moving energy in the Association these days- Bravo!
I feel proud and blessed to be part of such a creative, dedicated, hard-working, energetic, compassionate group of people.
Warmly,
Tina Erfer , ADTR, LCAT

Hi Everyone,
To see a Slide show of photos taken at the American Dance Therapy Association 2007 Conference opening ceremonies performance on the steps of Borough Hall in Brooklyn, NY click on this YouTube Link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZwpNNyJMfM . Title of performance "Dance Ascending: The Steps of Borough Hall" was created by Global Site Performances. It was one of my highlights at this years conference, in addition to the Skala performance!
Im working on compiling the conference photos that we had taken this year by a professional photographer and am in the process of creating a conference slide show for all to view. It was quite a fantastic conference! I was so glad to be a part of it! Ill talk about more of my highlights later, but thought that many of you, including those that were not able to attend, would enjoy seeing the photos of Marylee Hardenberghs magical creation
once again
Dance Ascending: The Steps of Borough Hall
the man that you see in the suit in many of the photos is Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz.
Enjoy the photos
more to come!
Warmly,
Christina Devereaux, MA, LCAT, LMHC, ADTR, NCC
