[Adta] Sorry... Not necessary

You don't kill the spirit of the conference by bringing up the real life issues that we all must face everyday, either in our work or in our lives. The violence of our culture is a serious and real concern. This year I had the opportunity at our conference to take Rena Kornblum's workshop on Violence Prevention and I was very moved, learned a lot, and am eager for an intensive or full weekend workshop on the subject. We come together to be strengthened and renewed to face the very real difficulties of our times. Perhaps the kindness and connection at the conference highlighted the other aspects of life we continue to face in our work and lives.

Peace continues,
Vitalah Simon, ADTR, LCAT

>Apologies for blasting that info in my last post, following all of the wonderful feedback from everyone about the conference. I hope I didn't "kill" any of the spirit of reflection from a truly tremendous event! I haven't been to too many conferences yet, but it seems as if each year, it gets better and better.
