Hi Sabine,
My dissertation was called "Kinaesthetic Imagining", and I gathered
phenomenological descriptions from students moving. I first worked
with the idea of movement as a text with multiple meanings, and found
Paul Ricoeur very helpful here (he has also written about meaning-
making as an action, which called action hermeneutics.) I found 3
levels of meaning in the movement text that correspond to his three
levels: the metaphoric, the archeological, and the teleological. That
dissertation is available from University dissertations in Ann Arbor
if you are interested, and there are some very good references in it
as well.
Best wishes,
Ilene
