I don't know of a specific assessment tool, but this seems like an 
interesting topic. I would imagine that information that would be useful t 
parents and pre-school teachers would include physical parameters (balance, 
coordination, gross motor, fine motor); social skill parameters (eye 
contact, parallel versus interactive play, recognition and use of 
appropriate nonverbal communication in social situations, social modeling, 
socially inclusive behaviors); and emotional/psychological parameters (use 
of creative and imaginary play, expression of emotions, ability to regulate 
emotions). I am very interesed to hear others' input. BTW, it's early for 
me; still waiting for the coffee to kick in, so I probably missed something 
obvious and important.
