Hi Lenore,

I was a counselor/therapist for CTFD in NYC from 1997-2001 - - (as well as a client when I "retired" from professional dancing) CTFD is a great service organization for professional dancers in New York and Los Angeles as well they do telephone counseling for dancers all over the country and seminars, workshops, etc.  At the time I was with them we did specific panel discussions that included information about the ADTA and dance/movement therapy as a career option for transitioning dancers.  They may need updated information but I know in the past the counselors always had information about d/mt, programs, requirements, etc.  Oftentimes the dancers seeking services at CTFD have yet to enter undergraduate programs so it may just be there are few ready for graduate degrees in d/mt?  In any case, I'd be happy to help make more of a connection there if it would be helpful.
